Oasis: How to find calm in an ocean of busy
Life seems to be moving faster and faster all the time and we can sometime feel as though we are being swallowed up in an ocean of “busy." This three part, experiential, interactive class is designed to help us to learn skills to access a place of calm in the middle of all the busy-ness life has to throw at us.
We will be learning and practicing a number of skills to reliably access a sense of ground under our feet and inner calm no matter what is happening in the external world. Each class will have experiential exercises as well as opportunities to interact with other participants and a menu of suggestions for experiments to conduct between class meetings to further explore the territory of “busy” in our own lives. Class participants will also be supported by opportunities to interact and share experiences online in a closed Facebook group just for this class.
Class size is limited, so it is suggested that you sign up early if you think you may be interested in participating.
